What I believe about therapy

We all want to feel heard and understood. With so many outside influences, we can find ourselves feeling lost and unsure of our place and purpose. It can feel like you are alone and powerless in your efforts to navigate through daily life, causing distress and a disconnect between where you are and where you wish to be. My hope is to provide a space for you to feel safe as you explore your innermost parts and come to accept them rather than fight against them. When you have a deep understanding of who you are, it provides a sense of inner stability that allows you to feel grounded even in difficult times. By gaining awareness and insight, you can begin to make choices that honor your authentic self and allow you to live the life you want to live.

My clinical experience has been working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, identity, and tough life transitions. My approach to therapy is eclectic, and I believe in catering to each individuals unique needs and background when determining the most effective strategies for growth. I strongly value the importance of human connection, and creating an environment that is nurturing, empowering, and free of judgement. I am here to stand alongside you throughout your journey, and help you recognize the potential that is already inside you.

We’re a team of compassionate therapists skilled in treating anxiety, depression, and relational issues in downtown Chicago.
